I do like PCA products and this one in particular--it almost feels as if it soaks up all the oil on my face--the only draw back is that you can become excessively dry so follow up with a good moisturizer--other than that it's great.

To those who suffer from oily skin and some acne, this is the product for you. Background: I'm a 30-yr. old male who's suffered from light acne his entire life. I recently fixed that problem, however, when I began cleaning my skin twice daily with first Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub, 5-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 4) then followed it up with Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser, 5-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 4). This definitely kept my acne in check, seeing that I only had four pimples over the last two years.
My big problem though is very oily skin, which causes me to shine and just feels nasty. The above-referenced products are effective and inexpensive, yet did nothing to combat oily skin. Fed up about it, I did some research and came across this product. I was hesitant at first since switching products may have meant that pimples would come back with a vengenance. Moreover, the product is definitely in a higher price class than Clean & Clear. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a try about two months ago.
Let me state this right now: I cannot believe how effective this product works. Firstly, it basically evaporates all oil. Much more effective than the Clean & Clear products. Secondly, not one blemish has shown up yet. While a bit early, it feels more effective than the combination of the two Clean & Clear cleansers. Thirdly, it just feels gentler on my skin: less abrasive, less red skin after washing.
I began using this product in conjuction with a mattifying daily moisturizer L'Occitane Veloute de Riz Ultra-Matifiant (Ultra Matte Face Fluid, Rice), 1-Ounce Bottle, since your skin does feel pretty dry after cleansing. Now my skin is clearer, has much less oil, and just feels better. Eureka!
