5The difference is subtle and extreme  Dec 19, 2010 By Shayshebang "Shay"
I have to say that I have suffered from acne my whole life. My skin is sensitive, oily and dark which makes it hard to find products to treat my acne. As a teenager I suffered from blackheads, cystic acne and whiteheads. I used to be terribly shy and my mother had the great foresight to take me to a dermatologist for help. I saw several dermatologists that insisted on treating my skin with Benzoyl Peroxide wash as a treatment. The Benzoyl cracked the skin around my nose and corners of my mouth even though I took care as the instructions informed to keep the product away from these areas. The acne would become crusty and then dark blemishes formed on my skin. Finally, I found a dermatologist who had treated skin similar to mine and he perscribed Retin-A and Salicylic acne wash. The Retin-A back then caused you to break out for about three weeks and then it started to clear your skin and the wash is an anti-bacterial which is supposed to prevent bumps. This was the combination that changed my life. The reason I stopped using it was due to the change in the healthcare system which expects everyone to be finished with acne by the age of 19 and if you are over 30 and still suffering with it then you have to prove you have acne and my doctor required me to come into his office every three to six months. What a pain in the neck when before I only had to see him once a year. Although, my face does not breakout severely as it did before, the clear skin I experienced under the dermatologists care is gone and I have had to search for an over-the-counter solution. Well, I happened upon this product and at first just like with the Retin-A I noticed my face broke out more for about 3 weeks. I was thinking about discontinuing using it but forced myself to push on as I am familiar with products that don't have an immediate fix. About two months later and one after another I started receiving compliments on how clear and vibrant my skin looks. At 40 years old I felt like these compliments are such a huge deal. Although, I am still young, I am not so young that I don't notice I am aging. The product not only cleared up my troubled skin it also seemed to cause it to glow. The results are a clear, even skin-tone(no dark spots) with no noticeable irritation even on sensitive skin. The slight tingling it causes was not bad at all and in fact I used this product with Neutrogena's facial wash and it seemed to be the perfect fit. I recommend this product highly for anyone with sensitive, oily skin.

3REJUVINATION but not PERFECTION  Jun 23, 2009 By L. J. Schrader
MD FORTE SKIN REJUVINATION LOTION III is a great facial lotion that improves texture of the skin and contains all of the recommended components for skin aging, including Retinol, AHA, Vitamins A & E. I chose it because of the combination of ingredients and was impressed with the effectiveness with smoothing the skin, but disappointed that it did not do more for skin discoloration.

I would have expected more than skin softening with this formulation, but just did not see those kinds of results. My dark patches are the real trouble spots for me (no pun intended, but they are!) and this may have lightened them slightly, but the change would really be negligible, if anything at all.

The texture of the product itself is nice and smooth but the scent is honestly awful. Also, you are to avoid the eye area out to the temples, so you will need to find a specific eye cream to use in addition to this if you want to address any undereye wrinkles. You need to be cautious about the crow's feet area near the eyes as well because of possible irritation.

For the price, I would not purchase again since I could find similar results from a much less expensive moisturizer. For those who need an intensive change in skin texture, this may be perfect for you. But,do not look for it to change skin discolorations and do not expect to use it for any eye area wrinkling, since it is not intended to be used near the eyes.

I will keep searching...

5Wonders for your skin  Mar 27, 2009 By Lola 48 "Dazzleyou"
I have used this MD Forte products for years. The Rejuvention Lotion III is only recommended after you have successfully used Lotion I & II. All three work miracles. Keeping skin smooth, wrinkles at bay and giving your overall skin tone a fresh youthfull look. Since using MD Forte products I never have trouble with the skin problems that I used to encounter with expensive department store products.
